Get those beachy waves without the ocean with this DIY Sea Salt Spray for Beachy Hair. It requires just 4 ingredients and 5 minutes for the easiest and most used hair product in your collection.
In my dream world, I’d spend the day on the ocean. Maybe some surfing? Or perhaps a hike above or along the water? Lots of activity, sunshine and of course the ocean breeze.
And then reality sets in. I am experiencing said Saturday afternoon, but in the concrete jungle and sweltering heat that is Toronto in the summer. No surfing, hiking or ocean breeze.
So here I am with an entirely free Saturday afternoon (a rarity in my life) and a new copy of Willow and Sage to inspire me. Suddenly a day without ocean turned into pretty much the next best thing, a DIY afternoon with my gal pal DK (the other DK…I’m not referencing myself lol).
We flipped through Willow and Sage, were inspired by a DIY Sea Salt Spray and set off to MUJI to buy some spray bottles.
We may not have gotten the ocean breeze, but at least we had a glorious afternoon of DIYing (and me subsequently destroying DK’s apartment…more on that in another post!) and pulled off beachy waves where no one would have guessed that we don’t live anywhere near sea salt.
If you want to look like a mermaid but ocean-time is not a possibility for you either, here’s a tutorial for DIY Sea Salt Spray for beachy hair!
